BRIEF DESCRIPTION:Cuso International in Peru is looking for a volunteer like you to conduct market research in farmers' markets to better understand market trends, opportunities and threats, examine fluctuations in supply and demand, as well as obtain information on products sold in addition to measuring customer satisfaction of urban agriculture in the capital city of Lima.
Urban and peri-urban agriculture is reemerging worldwide as a strategy to address a diverse array of interrelated urban issues, especially those related to food, health, environment and income generation. - Develop standardized data collection tools
- Build the capacity of farmers' markets to collect and analyze data in a systematic and coherent manner
- Validate market research findings and report with partners prior to dissemination
