Do you enjoy engaging with youth? Seeing their innovative and socially-inclusive perspectives disseminated to their communities?
Your enthusiasm for working with youth is shared by the staff at our brand-new partner, Medioambiente y Desarrollo en Acción (Environment and Development in Action) or ENDA. They are interested in providing spaces for children and youth to be informed and reflect on gender roles in Bolivian culture. The idea is to break these narratives to prevent gender-based violence in the communities where they live and go to school.
In your role, you'll use your skills in training to transfer your knowledge to teachers and administrative staff in the education sector, where interventions are carried out. You'll disseminate gender and positive masculinities programs in the communities through participation in fairs and other activities. In addition, you'll support ENDA in proposals with other organizations that share their mission, working on gender issues and masculinities, developing joint actions in educational sectors around the city of El Alto.
