On June 2, 2017, OCIC and CanWaCH hosted a half-day workshop that presented an overview of how to develop comprehensive Global Affairs Canada (GAC) proposals in health, including tips and insights from the presenters experience in developing numerous proposals. The workshop walked through the unsolicited proposal template of GAC and provided critical considerations for participants to include in a proposal. The workshop format included an interactive forum to enhance proposal development, and the workshop provided a comprehensive overview of GAC’s updated Results Based Management (RBM) framework.
The workshop was facilitated by Tariq Bhanjee who has worked in international development and public health since 2000 in over 20 countries. Through a rights based approach and by applying results based management, Tariq has supported over 30 NGOs and secured over 150 million dollars in funding from a range of donors including Global Affairs Canada, EU, USAID, CDC and multilateral agencies.
We want to thank our presenters, members and all the participants for joining us at this informative and insightful event.
