Join Blumbergs’ on Tuesday October 16, 2018 in Toronto for a financial capacity building workshop with Gordon Holley from Humanity Financial Management. Gordon will show organization leaders what they can do to increase the financial capacity of their charities and not-for-profit organizations.

It will be a full-day program that senior management and directors of charities and non-profit organizations will find very informative.

Some of the topics will include:
– Charity and not-for-profit financial capacity: what is it and how can we get more of it?
– Financial reporting to Boards: financial health and performance indicators for charities and not-for-profits
– Best practices for allocation of overhead costs to programs and funders
– CRA reporting for charities and not-for-profits: how to stay onside with the CRA

The price is $275 for the day. It includes breakfast, lunch, breaks, coffee and drinks, HST and handouts.

Gordon Holley, CPA, CA is the president and CEO of Humanity Financial Management (HFM), a CPA firm dedicated to helping charities and not-for-profit organizations build internal financial confidence and external financial credibility. He has over 35 years of not-for-profit board experience – mostly in the role of Treasurer. He currently sits on three boards. Gordon facilitates Financial Governance Workshops and webinars for many organizations, including Charity Village and Vantage Point in Vancouver. He is the only licensed facilitator of the Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional program (CNAP) in Canada.
