Film screening of “Youth Unstoppable”

Event Details

Fridays for Future hosts film screening of Youth Unstoppable which takes us inside the rise of the Global Youth Climate Movement as seen through the eyes of a young Canadian filmmaker, Slater Jewell-Kemker, who was 15 when she began documenting over the next 10 years the untold stories of youth around the world standing up for a green, sustainable future that they refuse to let slip away. Set against stunning visuals of a planet in crisis, this film is about the evolution of one young activist and a diverse network of youth rising up to demand a say in the decision making process that is shaping the world they live in.

Post film discussion with Sophia Mathur from Sudbury, the first young person to school strike in Canada in November 2018
