Museum Without a Home

Event Details

Museum Without a Home is an evening of art, food and music to celebrate the strength of refugees and the kindness of those who welcome them in their new communities. The events focus on the stories of women and girls, who face unique challenges when they are forced to flee their homes and rebuild their lives in a new country.

The items exhibited at Museum Without a Home are real objects donated to refugees, in their new countries, as symbols of friendship and solidarity. The objects and accompanying stories are a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of people forced to flee their homes. They also illustrate the kindness, compassion and common humanity that tie us together in challenging times.
