Transformational leadership inspires employees to unite around a common vision: increasing organizational effectiveness, developing stronger staff, and reducing employee turnover. But, what does it mean to be a transformational leader? How can you become a transformational leader? What are the skills and traits you need to develop to become a more effective leader?

In this interactive seminar you will learn the answers to all these questions, and more!

Transformational leadership is the best style of leadership for nonprofit leaders. Transformational leadership inspires employees to unite around a common vision, increases organizational effectiveness, develops stronger staff, and reduces employee turnover.

In this interactive seminar you will participate in a series of lectures and exercises that will help you identify the areas in which you need to develop as a transformational leader. You will learn practical exercises that will help you grow as a leader. Finally, you will leave the workshop with an action plan that will help you becomes more transformational in your leadership practice.

Authentic and transformational leadership go together like chocolate and peanut butter. If you participated in the Authentic Leadership Workshop, you will find that the material covered in this workshop will compliment and improve your leadership practice even further.

Participants in this seminar will learn:

– What are some of the common pitfalls of transformational leadership, and how to avoid them?

*Please note, online participants will receive a one hour lecture and Q&A period with Mikhael Bornstein from 1:00-2:00 pm EST.

All participants will have access to a recording of the lecture for 60 days.

About the Presenter:
Having worked in the arts, health, social service, and education sectors, Mikhael Bornstein has more than twenty years of experience as a non-profit leader. Mikhael is an AFP Master Trainer and a frequent speaker at conferences across North America. He is the Associate Director of Philanthropy at Ecojustice and teaches at George Brown College. Mikhael has a Master in Arts in Leadership Studies from Royal Roads University.
