The facilitator will go in-depth over new developments in RBM that are directly relevant to organizations wishing to apply for Global Affairs Canada funding, including how to navigate the application process and Global Affairs Canada expectations for Results-Based Management.

Facilitator: Lucas Ladurantaye, Results-Based Management Centre of Excellence, Global Affairs Canada

Lucas is Acting Deputy Director of the Results-Based Management Centre of Excellence (RBMCE) at Global Affairs Canada. Lucas and the team at the RBMCE are responsible for developing policy, methodology and guidance for RBM at Global Affairs Canada. Lucas is responsible for ensuring that RBM is applied consistently and effectively across the Department’s $3B+ International Assistance Funding Envelope. As a part of GAC’s International Assistance Operations Bureau, Lucas is also involved in operationalizing Canada’s new Feminist International Assistance Policy as well as implementing the recommendations from the 20916 International Assistance Review.

The Results-Based Management Centre of Excellence (RBMce) is Global Affairs Canada’s (GAC) focal point for Results-Based Management (RBM) methodology for international assistance programming. The Centre is located in in the Operational Direction and Coherence Division (DPO) of the International Assistance Operations Bureau (DPD).
